Snow

Snow

A Poem by Lydia Thacker

My rain has turned to snow,
Freezing or killing the only flower
I chose to nurture.

All colors left to me
Fade to white.

I lose myself in the snow.

I do not really like the last line, only because I felt like it could have been extended and been just as powerful as the previous lines. You had such a good flow and then the last line just felt so abrupt.

Otherwise, I really loved the flow of the first two stanzas. I really got a good picture of you rain turning into snow and hardships bringing about suffering.

Keep working on it!

Thanks for posting! Have a great day!
