Wish

Night kisses the earth,

Blanketing with delicious velvet lips.

Alone, I watch the starless sky,

Hoping for a wish,

A break in the clouds

Which cloak the stars.

Nature eludes the fulfillment of my desires.

Rain brushes away tears.
