Nimble and shy you caught my eye. I took a risk I thought I could fly. A hundred times I thought I would die, without you by my side nothing seemed right. And then I realized how much time was passing us by, nothing improved. Nothing survived the waves and the tides. They came crashing down all around and we just stood there. You were occupied elsewhere . It was like you weren't even there. Crossing the path the love that didnt last.

A very lovely and poignant poem.

One thing, though… I'd recommend the following form:
