WHEN I WENT TO SEE 30 SECONDS TO MARS and what it means to me.

23rd November 2013 the day I went to see my faviroute band, 30 seconds to mars. :)

On the 23rd November 2013.saturday. I went to see what I consider the greatest band ever. 30 seconds to mars.

 

Not only have there music, helped me through so much in my life. But they have also inspired and helped me

sculpt my creativeness. The only music I class as actual music. Is the sort that speaks to the heart and was written from the heart. too many artists now days go "mainstream" yet 30 seconds to mars have still managed to keep there

original rhythm in check.

 

I had never been to the 02 in London before and so was very excited to be going. Hopping on the tube me and my

mate chattered away, imagining what it would be like if we bumped into, those band members we adored.

 

The reality of it had still not sunk in. Even when I was waiting in the queue to wait in another queue to see the band.

for eight years I had been wanting to see them out of my dreams. And now I was about to see the band and the man that had helped me through so much, and yet didn't even know I existed. Of course I am not an exception. There

are thousands and millions of woman in there twenties, like me. Who love there music and most of all the man behind the music.

 

When we got to our seats, we waited for the lights to dim and the action to begin! The arena was jam packed of

people. Like me, the other members of the Echelon had t shirts on with the 30 seconds to mars logo on. However I was a bit surprised to see not as many You Me At Six t shirts being worn. My friend was the only dedicated YOU ME AT

SIX FAN there. I found it quite beautiful how music meant so much to her. That she had a tattoo of the bands lyrics.

across her arm. Its amazing how music can mean so much to people, in so many unique and different ways.

 

Personally. 30 seconds to mars is more than a band. It has been the Strength.determination and inspiration I have

needed in my life. From the outside Jared. Shannon.Tomo are just men that are in a band. But they are so much more

than meets the eye. They are and will carry on to be the definition of " Inspiration and hope" for people around the

globe.

 

The arena grew darker, and the anticipation of seeing the band was getting to me. I could not believe my luck.

I felt like I was in someone else's body and living a chapter of there life. The reel of there music videos kept

playing every so often. And the backstage people kept flashing torches onto the crowds to hype them up.

 

At last the concert began. I heard the voice that I had so longed to hear, echo around the

packed stadium. For all these years I had watched him in films he had starred in and music

videos. It seems so unreal to finally be blessed with watching this man, perform in front

of me. It seemed cruel that I could finally see him, and yet I was so far away. They

would never know how much of an impact they had on my life.

 

I was there. At the 02 in London, sat high above admiring the band that had no idea who I was, and never would. It was the most beautiful moment in my life. It sounds pathetic but it was. I now could fully grasp the concept of why people go to gigs/concerts.

 

From the start of that first Octave. to the last note of the melody. You are isolated from the world around you. Its just you and the band. At first you feel in the crowd cheering

and screaming your appreciation towards them. And then when the acoustic set begins. Looking into the big screen. Its just you and the Artist.

 

I observed Jared Leto,s body language throughout the performance. And I can honestly say he is one special individual. I could not put my finger on it, but he carries an amazing spiritual atmosphere.

 

I don't want to be classed as the "Typical enchanted fan girl for 30 seconds to mars" because im not. I look deeper into the soul of the band, as much as I can. When I saw the band unveil themselves to the audience, something inside me clicked. One of my life ambitions had been granted.

Great story. Music is my life, my passion. I could not live without music. I am one of those persons you speak of where music means so much to people. It is a great experience when you get to see the band you love the most.I love all music but metal is my first love. I too am a fan of 30 seconds to Mars. Their music is deep and from the heart. When they're home (here in Los Angeles) you can always catch them walking around in Hollywood.
