SOS..to the horizon !

SOS..to the horizon !

A Poem by Arabdha

Silence resonates and reverberates..
an unfillable echo in a distant void...

the air carries with it projections of a million dreams..
voices unheard,inceptions unrealized..

A call to the universe,
an SOS to the horizon..

the song of life,
music mundane,lyrics ethereal..

the voiceless pathos of a dismantled soul..
journey unknown,
destination a fading haze..

two wearied feet and a dejected heart..
and yet the flame of endless quest burning bright..

passion emblazoned..
trapped in delirium and awe..
lost in singularity and anonymity..

a persisting devotion to an endless path..
a brave endeavor on its part !

This is vivid and full of energy. This, for me, is a poem about strength, about facing adversity, and throwing our fears and despair into the winds and carrying on... it tells us how, lost in "singularity and anonymity", unheard and unseen by others, raked by the winds and the vagaries of nature, we may truly find our inner strength... where there is nothing else for it come from but from within, that "flame of endless quest burning bright". Evocative and inspiring poem, really well written, thank you! :)

How your words ride the waves of thought! There is such an enchanted phrasing that breathes insight into the hungering heart and mind... Loved it all, but those last lines seemed so fiercely courageous to me... fighting on through it all.

I was expecting something much more violent from the title and was pleasently surprised. nice work.

Seems that whatever one feels, however one feels, there has to be hope and the strength that things will get better. Your words are compelling and powerful, sad in some way yet the ending most definitely opens a door ..

Such a twisting paradoxical and brilliant quip this is!

"the song of life,
music mundane,lyrics ethereal.."

Loved that part.
