A Prayer..

A Prayer..

A Poem by Arabdha

Bowed is my head..
folded my arms..
my world has no sorrow..
it inflicts no pain either..
mine is a sacrosanctum of happiness and melody..
but its lost somewhere in the sea of human misery..
and therefore my soul embraces this simple prayer..
that of humanity..

thank you Abhijit..the suggestion for the use of 'melody' was his..the original word was 'glee'..

The poem is very nice and the concept is well expressed , the only thing I can point out (though I may be wrong) is that I am not sure whether glee is the appropriate term here . If you are not using that exact word here for any particular reason , you might consider replacing it with some synonym .
Once again , a very nice read .

Prayers are such a private matter, like a confidential talk between the very best of friends, you lost me a little using the word sacrosanctum (consilium)
However I did enjoy this poem :0)

What a rich depth of life and experience... a breathing out of a prayer that utters words of hope even in the midst of misery... Courage...

what a relatable write. The feeling of lending a hand and nobody taking it. speaking the honest inspirations and nobody listening. The need to share your peace. wonderful.
