Chapter Two

Time passed by quickly. Sarah Jo is now on the 15th year of her life. She studies in The Rua Institute of Combat. She's one of the best students there because of her fighting skills. She aspires to be a part of EAGLES to be a great detective like her father. But before that happens, she has to go through this teacher, Mrs. Norris. She is their accounting teacher. She's old, boring and she gives low grades. She keeps on telling them that she worked in Nestle for 30 years. Almost everyone doesn't like her, especially this guy, Dexter Scott. He's one of the campus Hunks, He's handsome, he has a dark hair and gray eyes. He's one of the well-known bad boys in school.

"I don't get the connection of studying accounting in harnessing our special abilities" Dexter said.

"True Story bro, By the way, Do you wanna have some fun?" Benjamin, the trouble maker said.

"You're gonna get me in trouble again. " Dexter said

"Oh come on, that doesn't sound like you. You're always in trouble" Benjamin said

"Leave me out of this" Dexter said

"Well, okay. You're gonna miss it. Sarah Jo is with us" Benjamin said

"Wait. What? Sarah Jo? Are you serious? You gotta be kidding me" Dexter said

"Yes, Benjamin is serious" Sarah Jo said

Dexter looked at her, he didn't know what to say. He didn't expect that someone like her would join Benjamin and his rowdy plans.

"Count me in. So, what's the plan?" Dexter asked

"Well, I bought some lizards and she's not looking, we'll throw this to her. That'll scare the hell out of her" Benjamin said

They threw the lizard to Mrs. Norris. She screamed like an insane woman. The whole class bursted with laughter. She got so mad and she threw the white board eraser and everyone stopped laughing. Then  this girl named Drina Mihama told her who did it, she mentioned Dexter and Benjamin's name and she finger pointed Sarah Jo. They were sent to the principal's office.

Principal Powers was sitting on her desk. She was surprised when she saw Sarah Jo with them. She didn't expect that she'll visit her office along with the 2 guys who always visits her.

"Wow, the two of you again, and this time, you bought a new recruit" Principal powers said

"Hi Ma'am Nice to meet you again" Benjamin said

"Well, nice to meet you too, Mr. Garner, it's been hours since you last came in my office" Principal Powers said

"So ma'am, what's the punishment?" Dexter asked

"Another Red card for the two of you, and Ms. Stryker, I can't believe that you joined them. You're one of the best students here. You should be a role model to them" Principal Powers said

"That's the problem with being the best, people have high expectations with you, A single mistake could ruin you, and last is, you can't experience the word Fun" Sarah Jo said

Principal Powers was impressed, what Sarah Jo said was right. She never heard anything like this before. On the other hand, Dexter and Benjamin looked at each other, they were so surprised with her statement.

"Very clever! Very well said Ms. Stryker, but I want you to know that, Here in RIC, we are trying our best to help you harness what you've got. We are training you to be a good role model for you to be great leaders. Now, the three of you may leave and go home." Principal Powers said

They went outside the office. While walking Dexter tapped Sarah Jo's back.

"Good Job sis. Benjamin and I was amazed with what you said. You're so right" Dexter said

"Have you seen the expression of Principal Powers' face? Her jaw was about to drop" Benjamin Added

"Oh, stop it guys, I just said what's on my mind, and thanks a lot, I really had fun" Sarah Jo said

 

When Sarah Jo came home, her mom and dad were sitting on the couch. She knew that her parents found out about what happened. She was surprised when she realized that they are not mad at her. Her mother said that the principal called and told them what happened. They were so proud of her

"That's my girl" Joseph said

They hugged each other and the house seemed to be filled with love.

 

On the other hand, Dexter is having a heavy argument with his father about what happened

"You Impotent Kid!  Why did you put yourself in trouble?" Hugh, Dexter's dad shouted.

"You won't get another red card if only you're a straight edge" he added

"Or what? I can't be who you want me to be, so don't force me to be like you" Dexter said

"You just don't understand what it takes to be a Scott! You're a weak link in this family" Hugh said

"Yeah. I heard that so many f*****g times dad. You don't have to repeat this words over and over again" Dexter said

Hugh got pissed off. He punched Dexter's face so hard, and he got out of the house to find a place where he can cool down. He decided to call his wife, Jane who is working in America.

"Jane, I give up! Dexter is not getting any better" Hugh Said

"Hugh, calm down. Give your son another chance" Jane said

"He just don't understand how his life should go and he never will"

"Hugh, don't say that, he's only a teenager"

"He's on his way to be an adult. Maybe you should just take him with you, he'll be better. You're the only one whom he listens to"

"It's not that easy but I'll think about it"

He ended the call with a frown on his face, but his anger is a little bit lessened.
