Chapter 1

"Our funds are getting low, we can't take care of 2 boys" Janine said

"We need to give one up and give it to your sister, Ericka, since her baby was stillborn. It's the only way to soothe her heart" Jonathan said

The household where Ericka Hale lives in seems to be full of despair. It's been 8 months since she had a baby who never get the chance to see the world. Janine walked around the house and she can feel the sadness as she looks at Ericka's paintings. 

"What are you doing here?" Ericka asked as she was sitting in front of her canvas

"You know about the financial situation that we are in right now, and it's hard for a mother to do this but, just for the sake of soothing your heart......." Janine said

Ericka stood up and faced Janine. She saw her holding an infant.

"Why do you have to do this?" Ericka asked

"I won't end up standing here in front of you if I'm not too desperate. I can't raise 2 boys at the same time. It's just a matter of supply and demand" Janine said

Ericka extended her arms to grab a hold to the infant that Janine was holding.
