Why Do Hearts Cry

Why Do Hearts Cry

A Poem by Draven
"

My heart cries. My heart bleeds.

"

For those we love but lose.
For the paths we tread but do not choose.
For the bonds that end with a sudden break.
For the wounds that bleed with each breath we take.

For all the long forgotten years.
For the insults that bring unwanted tears.
For each time that we are let down.
For each day we hurt but make no sound.

For every time we are broken by lies.
For each time we must say goodbyes.
For all our dreams which whither and die.
That, my friend, is why hearts cry.

Very nice rhyming and I love the ending last line, it all came together well. I love the title, and the meaning.
