Inhuman Soldier

Inhuman Soldier

A Poem by Draven

What does it mean, to be a soldier?
What does it mean it be human?
And what is it to be both?

What am I in this swirling mass
of electrical signals echoing,
genetically altered flesh thrashing
in the confines of this armor?
It is my guardian, it is my tomb.
Beneath the visor there is thought,
emotions of a machine that cannot feel...

What does it mean, to be a soldier?
What does it mean it be human?
And what is it to be both?
