Child In The Rain

Child In The Rain

A Poem by Draven

You take my breath away
simply by the curve of your lips
when you smile.

I have to be the guarded man,
head held high in mock confidence.
But when you smile
I can't help but to smile back -
a child playing in the rain.

I like the simplicity in this one. Perhaps you tend to over-think things too much but then we all have a tendency to do that, don't we. Playing in the rain is an experience.

I don't know if my last review went through or not, so im just gonna gawk all over this again.
This poem is so true, we all have that someone who manages to make us smile even through the darkest of hours.
