A Mad Man's Melody

A Mad Man's Melody

A Poem by Draven

A mad man sits alone the dark,
pounding a midnight melody
from the keys of an old piano.

The notes pierce the shadows
like a blade through flesh,
reflecting the memories of his past life
that corrupt his troubled mind,
robbing him of his last sanctuary.

Author's Note

Draven
I think a mad man as a pianist would be really interesting.
