La MascaraA Poem by CelestialHiding is a hindrance to gain the true spotlightShe’s in a theatre play called life Filled with happiness but full of strife A theatre play where actors have a cover to hide And show the audience that they are fine The curtain is up… and the actors start the stage play Each of them has a mask to wear And every character is working hard To outshine and be the center of the spotlight She wears her mask everyday Like a daily make-up in her face. A mask filled with different colors To conceal the cracks in her soul Hiding is the best way to make herself loved by the audience Wearing her favorite mask will help her achieve it It will help her fill the emptiness And broken life she has that shattered into pieces Now, before the curtain is down the spotlight is on her But she is doubtful that she can still do it-- The hiding behind the mask And keep the vastness of darkness inside. © 2018 CelestialAuthor's Note
