The Dance

The moment you walk into the room your presences fills it
I do not need to turn around to know you are there
My heartbeats quicken
I feel the blood singing in my veins
All my senses tell me you are there
I turn and look up at you
Our eyes meet and hold words are not needed
I know your voice before you speak
I have known it for all time
Your gaze drops to my lips as I speak
Eyes lazily watching as they move
My tongue slips out to lick my lips
Eyes capture mine turbulence brewing in their depth
Breathing becomes impossible and I have to look away
Your reach for me pulling my gaze back to you
Heat cruising through me at what I see
All thought has gone there is only the senses
I breath and am filled with you
A shiver of excitement shoots through me as you bend your head
Your lips touch mine with the softest whisper of a pressure
A touch so light belies the molten heat below the surface
An inferno held in by the power of your will
“We have time” you whisper as you raise your head
You take my hand in yours leading me to the floor
We begin to dance eyes locked bodies moving to the beat
The dance has just begun

Bravo.. really, really, really.. wow.. liked this one.. this is love.. infactuation.. lust.. endorphins causing you to trip over your feet cause you feel like your flying high.. just a magnificent feeling that was captured so beautifully here.. the presence being known when they enter a room.. knowing the voice before words are even spoken.. as they're etched in your heart permanently.. in both good and bad times. The flow and descripton made me feel like I was there .. almost experiencing it! Thank you so much for sharing this.. really inspiring! =)
