Love Someone Today

There is a pain deep in my soul

You and only you know why it is there

You are the one who has seen my soul

We share something very rare

Many may come and many may go

Some touch our minds

Some touch our hearts

Those that touch our souls are few and far between

Everyone is searching for this treasure

When to have it is within their reach

Love is what they seek

To have love you must give love

It is not something you can keep

The gift of love does not cost us anything

It is free and there for us all to share

Love can give us such joy and also there can be pain

To keep it all to our selves is not what love is about

Share it, give it and accept it in return

If you keep it you will feel no pain

But giving it will bring you so much joy and happiness

To feel the pain means you have felt that joy

Sometimes this will only last a short while

Distance and time may keep you apart

Sometimes it is forever

Love will live on into eternity long after we are gone

Of all the gifts we will give each other love is the one that will last

All the wealth in the world will not buy happiness

Love someone today totally unconditionally and with all your heart

Now send that love out to the world

For it is love that will change this life we live not power not wealth
