Portrait Hearts

Portrait Hearts

A Poem by AprilRose
"

A portrait of two hearts

"

The smell of sweet scented palms pressed against my skin.
Maximizing this beauty. As he talks I listen. Soft and beautiful.
Our unseen words.
I am ringing my fingers through his hands, pressing our palms together flourishing in our state. Fantasizing.
His words touching my lips wrapping me into one thought.
What has possessed me?
My eyes following his every movement
I am motionless in his presence.
My essence a flower whistling.
Slowly, I became something unexplainable.
The leaves of our tree fall
Slowly fading in the background. Turning roses brighter than red.
Our portrait, the sequence of two taming hearts.
A scene of true love flowing through every breath.
My essence becomes breathless and our hearts now tamed. My eyes turned motionless captured into his. Pushing us into a never never land of hearts taken by our own senses. Pressing our hearts into one, I became me
