No matter what we’ve been through

you’ve given me hope for something new

trying to dry all the tears that I’ve cried

dying to feel alive… again… inside.

 

Accepting the way I feel for you

has opened my eyes to a different view

no longer trapped in cracked mirrors

seeing facts a whole lot clearer.

 

A world apart stands a simple man

holding my heart within his hands

spilling the sand, we watch it scatter

love expand s--so nothing else matters.

 

When the madness of sadness starts to creep in

I’m stronger-no longer- do I have to pretend

fear fades with each breath that I take

shaking charades made by mistake.

 

Trust I feel and I share with you

kinship of friendship accrued and grew

we’ll get through each path we choose to pursue

these three words don't always spell disaster

I’ll be loving you and nothing... else... matters.

Oh , my Romanticism . Haven't seen this for a while. In fact is not very common around here (The cafe). The use of intense emotion as an authentic source of aesthetic experience, placing new emphasis on such emotions as apprehension, horror and terror, and awe. In this writing we find all of them. In fact this is probably the "darkest " writing I have ever read from you. I can only assume the reasons are clearly described in the writing so there is no need to put them on show. I really relate to the gesture of the writing. You standing at the top of the castle, bruised and battered emotionally , a storm coming, winds , grey skies falling upon you , your black cloak and the image of the sun at the distance in its reflection that person that will still be there for you until the bitter end.

Nothing else would matter.

Upon logging off the other day this was the first that I read from you. I was wowed by your own construction of lyrics to this classic. So amazed by your ability to write along with the music of the song that I had to take a look at Metallica's lyrics and see for myself all of the points that you came up with on your own. It closely resembles the theme, but it follows a more feminine vibe. I liked it a lot.

I was sitting here wanting to pour out some emotion and this song was playing in my heart, so listened to it and tried to adjust my writing to layer within its meaning and my own feelings... Love it. I am a bit speechless by it as well. My breath was caught and that doesn't usually happen with romantic poems like this one. It beautifully expressed and the alliteration is read at a feverish pace that makes the heart race along with it. WOW! I really, really liked this one. Is it just me or were you listening to Metallica when you wrote this because that what I am hearing, not actually listening to any music I read this either.

I love the fact that I was able to pick up Metallica out of this. It doesn't come across as mushy at all to me. It comes across as sweet and loving and tender in all the hard places, but it's also gentle and ruff and smooth in all the soft places. Its like reading a massage almost. Makes me want to lay on the table and let the words be fingers to poor over me. Mushy? No. But I would be.

We love and give away our loves like doves or other types of birds which sometimes return for a time, i guess forever, in imagination or in the afterlife. Joyfully returns friendship between loves and just ordinary day to day life if we have the ability and desire at that window in time to open our hearts for the people present around us, a wave of forgoers into the marketplace, or home life if there is one, not going it along always but being able to be both sufficient unto ourselves in following dreams to a short limit, or whatever length, we get to...and on and on; but at least someone will listen to us at times so that we know from the divine Spirit that we have matter importance that someone needed to hear what we were saying that day
