boys-in-tha-hood up to no good

stealin candy knockin’ at your door

hoarding the goods comin’ back for more.

 

Sneaky spooks lookin’ to scare

booby traps set everywhere

boyfriend’s friends actin’ school age

mischievous looks written on their face.

 

Party time strobe lights flashin’

older folks monster mashin’

hay rides and backwood fires

tipsy teens tempting desires.

 

 

If you’re ever in the south

you know who to call

just drive on down

Cuz we’re havin’ a ball.

The scariest thing about this is that it is not scary at all. Hehe... liked how it has a cheerful, childish touch to it.

We never have had Halloween in our country but know the gist of it and of course have seen the movie series and countless shows that have their 'scary' episodes.

My last Halloween consisted of curling up in the bathtub with a mattress over it (as if preparing for a tornado)... a bottle of rum, a s**t load of blankets, and complete darkness.. trying to muffle out the trick-or-treaters. :P Call me boring if you must, but I needed sleep before work; and kids wanting candy were probably the most terrifying thing possible for my poor insomniac self. I do have some good memories as a kid, running like a madman through the streets, not always being up to good, yada yada... I still remember Halloween 2002; as the police officer explained to me, Biological Terrorists with Anthrax were a sensitive thing, and were neither funny nor the 'right type of scary'. After that Halloweens were night-games, pasta parties, hunting down some kids who stole my brother's candy and teaching them some real fear... scaring the s**t out of my sister (who scares too easily; creepy carnival music which fades in and out sets a good mood), LAN parties, booze, Christmas Caroling in wizard outfits, going trick-or-treating watching over the little ones... and in recent years, hiding in the cooler at work so I wouldn't have to deal with drunken a******s... :P Not sure what I will do this year though, but that is part of the fun I suppose; it is usually a spontaneous day.

Well, feel free to ask any one of them; I will do my best to reminisce properly. I am not generally one for parties, but with my sense of humour, I do make for a rather odd party animal. I would be honored to party it up with someone like you... ;) And yeah, I can imagine just how interesting those stories are; I mean... these are drunken a******s that ended up in hospitals and not just pissing on buildings...

I don't even need booze for that one! I think the funniest thing I ever say drunk people trying to do had to be in college... three drunk college students shoving themselves into a shopping cart, and tying it to the back of a car because there wasn't room in the car... :P Got out to the main road and after hitting about 30mph it flipped. Ummm.... or... ever seen people try and have a tug-of-war on unicycles (while drunk)? :P
