Bone-chillin’ squealin’ echoing through the night

creepy, crawly feelin’ somethin’ ain’t right

hear the pitter-patter of little feet

tiny toddlers hidden under white sheets.

 

Spiderman, Cinderella

some small scary fella

Spongebob, Minnie Mouse

all come running to your house.

 

Gangs doin thangs you never would

boys-in-tha-hood up to no good

stealin candy knockin’ at your door

hoarding the goods comin’ back for more.

 

Sneaky spooks lookin’ to scare

booby traps set everywhere

boyfriend’s friends actin’ school age

mischievous looks written on their face.

 

Party time strobe lights flashin’

older folks monster mashin’

hay rides and backwood fires

tipsy teens tempting desires.

 

 

If you’re ever in the south

you know who to call

just drive on down

Cuz we’re havin’ a ball.

The scariest thing about this is that it is not scary at all. Hehe... liked how it has a cheerful, childish touch to it.

We never have had Halloween in our country but know the gist of it and of course have seen the movie series and countless shows that have their 'scary' episodes.

I have been working on my nieces costumes for a while, and definitely love taking them trick-or-treating... we are a butterfly fairy and angel this year...
