The Fly on My Keyboard

The Fly on My Keyboard

A Poem by April Child
"

A fly landed on my keyboard.... a bit of silliness

"

Goodbye

dead fly

why’d you choose to lie

on my letter ‘Y’

If you had only chosen ‘P’

you might still be

alive

And now I’m sad

and feeling a bit bad

but with a sigh

I say

goodbye Mr Fly

guess it was your day to die.

f*****g flies, I hate flies there was one buzzing around my computer earlier but I didn't catch the b*****d!! I used to kill all insects, I was a insect serial killer. I understand your frustration, and this was a good simple, short and sweet write. Nice one!

arf, arf...another little chuckle from me. tis funny in concept and well executed (sic). makes its point quickly and ends. I was pulled into the poem by the title. I felt sorry for the fly, too.
