Power

Power

A Poem by April Child
"

Acrostic :)

"

Power, an oasis of bliss, an

Ocean of selfish greed

Warping our minds with a kiss of desire

Eating away our sanctified adequacy
Reminding us of constant feebleness

Brilliance in simplicity, you capture so well the essence of power and its roll in human endeavors. Love your writing skill!

See...short, powerful, non-rhyming. I like it.

This is short, but it has a good message.

"Warping our minds with a kiss of desire"

I like that line especially. It reminds me of that saying "Absolute power corrupts absolutely" just getting a small taste of power makes us go mad with it.

I like the message you are getting across with this one. Nice job!
