Sand HillA Poem by ajellyfor a little peaceful place of rest I pass on my way to work -Oh, this sand hill - little space of rest Lay your head - head on my chest Just rest here - here rest forever I will wrap my arms - arms around your back I will lay my lips - lips on your skin Forever, you lie - you lay here. This sand hill - Sand Hill Cemetery Your universal mother, mother of earth Dust, pebbles, sand - Sand, rain, snow. I too shall pass - you too shall pass. For now, drab daylight. And then, then the dancing moonlight. Evermore - Sand Hill. © 2017 ajelly |
