Million Pieces of Mine

Million Pieces of Mine

A Poem by ajelly

Came back, went away.

Never sure . . .

. . . to go or stay.

Left the shore, gone away.

Has my soul . . .

. . .returned today?

Wandering here, Wandering there.

Unreasonable thing . . .

. . . The million pieces of mine won't sing.

Until I know for sure, for sure.

Here or there.

When or where,

Return to me, my heart, my soul.

Million pieces of mine.

Million pieces of my whole.

Lovely words. I wonder where it went to? Sometimes, it feels like we are hollow, but it lways returns to us, hopefully in better condition than it was.

A polished piece. Says a lot about you as a writer.
Considered yourself accepted. Thank you for finding me.
