a bit of clarity

a bit of clarity

A Poem by Vincent
"

the first part of this was written for Risa Jean, and the second part was an acrostic that i also wrote for her.

"

the many years i have to look to,
many great things that i'll get to see;
i'm so glad that i'll get to spend them with you,
and i hope that you'll love to spend them with me.
i'm counting the days until you're here in my arms
with nothing else to ever really worry;
we can stretch out under the stars,
and time will no longer hurry.
maybe that day will come sooner than we think,
even though to me it seems so far away;
maybe the time will fly faster than i can blink
and you'll come to my embrace to stay.

Irreversible at heart

Leaving no room for doubt,
Only those things which i know are certain;
Vivid dreams and beautiful things
Ever so gently bind me to this earth.

Yellow skies are quite
Odd, but the things of life are quite
Unusual at times, and seldom right.

Fearsome nightmares
Open new dreamscapes in imagination,
Ready to rob wayward ones of
Everything they have;
Very few make it back sane, some with
Euphoric madness, many others
Reminisce on a vacant reality made so.

Knowing that you are there is
Importance all in its own,
Making me ever so strong, ready to face
Utter fear all alone.
