beaten before they begin

beaten before they begin

A Poem by Vincent

Ensued with a midsummer's lament,
Our lives are won, our lives are spent.
Nobody cared what happened to us that day,
But their answers were true
As no one cared to say.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE TODAY?
THEY SEEM TO BE CAPABLE TO DO WHAT THEY MAY.
VISIONARIES AND DICTATORS ARE SADISTIC AT HEART,
THAT IS WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM THE START.

We were all damned from the beginning, but no one could see,
That we were incapable of winning, and no one would be free.
Why no one will stop this madness, we do not know.
It is simple, see:
We do not belong where we do not go.
