Like Silk

A Poem by Vincent

The bliss you create, it's intriguing;

I seek to find it's meaning,

the source of it's elation, divine.

It's intimation, carried on wings of such splendor,

a notion I can almost touch

as it fleets me in my dreams...it taunts me as such...

a fun game on one end, a string holding balance, the other...

a consolation from an otherwise stale existence...

a blooming of the most beautiful euphoria...

a personal invitation to paradise, something more.

Such feelings yet unclear I entice

the words, the key to save me, therefore

yet I still stand at this doorstep to freedom,

still unsure as to whether I should thrust it open

or leave it shut forever.
