I saw you before

I saw you before

A Poem by Apple Newhouse
"

A poem to my son Leif Wyatt Happy first birthday my beloved son (2-28-10)

"

Years before you were even in my belly growing safe and warm I saw you, your big blue eyes, your smile that lights up a room, your blonde head of hair, you in my life.

Id walk to and from places for years seeing you, hoping for you to be snuggling with me,playing with me and holding your little tiny hand.

For years I would hope to stand proud holding you and carring you in my belly.

I saw you before you entered the world,I wanted you before I knew of your existance,I loved you before your existance and entrance to life.

such a touching poem. This has an effect on me, because I'm 25 and have no children yet and I'm starting to get feelings of longing when I see mother's with their young children. I so much want to be a mother some day soon!
