Someone better than me

Kohl smeared over my face,

He stares it with eyes full of grace.

He tells me he finds his life in a creature like me,

While I neglect his words hoping he gets someone superior to me.

When I look in those eyes full of love,

I wish I could quench the thirst.

I do adore his devotion in me,

But more of his generosity,

I’m just a useless being they say,

While he deserves someone as fairy.

Every time he confesses his love to me,

I take a step back closing the heart in me.

I pray he gets someone who’s equivalent to his generosity,

And makes him live ever after blissfully.
