Rhapsodized
A Poem by
TamiViolet
Spring has just about sprung, yes? Along with so much more...
The silvery rain stings our faces,
And the assault of April's discontent
Awakens dreams pressed into
Empty
Wine cellars...
Purple crocuses bloom wild in woods
Preparing for summer fantasy as
Nature's rhythm,
Graceful like raving lovers reunited,
Unveils dormant spirits waiting...
To be reborn...

I ADORE the alliteration in the first three lines... Simply beautiful... This poem was amazingly stunning. It's going to be added to my library. Simple fantastic. The feeling is so... "classic"... I don't know any other way to describe it. Fascinating and great picture too. 100/100 across the board!

So beautiful. Picture was very beautiful also. I like the feel of possibility and new hope in the poem. I wish I could write and say so much in so few words. I enjoy your poetry.

Intriguing, the sparks from such words as "sting," "assault," "discontent" in the midst of otherwise graceful lyric flow.
Much like the friction inherent in the erotic vis-a-vis the romantic, I suppose.
I find this rite of spring's awakening of "dreams pressed into/Empty/Wine cellars" particularly striking.
Your touch is nimble, nuanced, sublime.

No, it is not beautiful ! It is fresh and green
and frothy like the spring. It is poetry.
You have captured the essence of mercurial
fluctuation in the weather and in the human
that suffers such nuances.
I look forward to reading more of this fresh,
vigorous, stimulating passion from a gifted
artist.

What a profoundly beautiful write, moving us into the newness of life in the spring.. of the world.. of hearts.. It's like a dream that awakens... Wonderful, enchanted form and flow...

a friend at work forced some purple crocuses and brought them to work, they bloomed in January . . . your words made me smile
such a graceful, elegant spring song you've painted here
thank you for making me smile
