Rhapsodized

Rhapsodized

A Poem by TamiViolet
"

Spring has just about sprung, yes? Along with so much more...

"

The silvery rain stings our faces,

And the assault of April's discontent

     Awakens dreams pressed into

Empty

Wine cellars...

Purple crocuses bloom wild in woods

   Preparing for summer fantasy as

     Nature's rhythm,

Graceful like raving lovers reunited,

          Unveils dormant spirits waiting...

                To be reborn...

I ADORE the alliteration in the first three lines... Simply beautiful... This poem was amazingly stunning. It's going to be added to my library. Simple fantastic. The feeling is so... "classic"... I don't know any other way to describe it. Fascinating and great picture too. 100/100 across the board!

once again..a simple and very meaningful...the imagery has been used so gracefully that it blends easily with other lines....i loved the way you have narrated the seasonal change...one's end smoothly leading to another's start...felt as if m watching them merge into each other without any fear..an embodiment of seasons...
beautiful...beautiful...beautiful!!!!!!!!

You've captured something here. The hyperbole of the seasons is remarkable: 'Graceful like raving lovers reunited,' I think this is my favourite line as I could easily visualize an embodiment of spring and summer seeing each other for the first time since winter, during that transitional stage of seasonal change. I believe the last two lines are the definition of summer itself... dormant spirits signifying nature or human beings themselves. Overall this poem flows really nicely and says everything it needs to say, big fan.

PS. 1170 views...?! Seriously?!
