Uncertainty

Uncertainty

A Poem by TamiViolet
"

just a thought...deliberately short

"

Unable to pretend...

I can't say who I will become tomorrow,

for this moment is all I have....

All any of us has...

We never had a choice.

Blood breeds blood

Don't hold on too tight

Dream...

But the moment is now

And now has cunningly passed...

Forever.

Stop squeezing!

Are your fields colorful?

Or mere nightmares of gray?

My oh my what interesting questions you put forth... do we use the past to help guide our future or should the past be left behind so it don't hold us back... I think each situation is different and we must decide which is right... as humans we might error but if we do our best the colors of life will always be bright.

A very philosophical piece and certainly something we should all think about.

I do believe in choice, even when we feel there isn't, there always is.

I believe in color............

A thoughtful write.

I love this maybe because i live this way and cherish each day as if there was not a tomorrow, the day before has built today's memories.........fields are always different and have many shades but the color we apply as artist is what that field becomes to us a nightmare with lessons ,a happy field of memories? a field of mixed flowers is just that a mix of the reality we live its both and we must bring the bright flowers to our table and learn from the dark ones and rejoice in them all ....do we have the power to see in a different color using our logic and applying it to circumstance? Happy New Year!!!! ..excellent piece I loved it!!!

Awesome as always. I like the whole color scheme for the poem. Very dreary, and deep. Well done, meaning very well expressed.

Completely brilliant! I have to agree with Dani and Bhavya as well. Witty, yet it's definitely so true. And we try our best to forgive, forget, get up, and move on... It's hard, but i think it's what makes us great, i believe. I just still wonder if our lives and destinies have already been chosen; and we just dont know what will happen next. I mean, i wonder if our lives are planned out already hehe. Well, i just hope something good happens to me later in life, cause the life im livin now suks bigtime!!! lol. Awesome work hun :)

Are your fields colorful?

Or mere nightmares of gray? - Wow! What a beautiful metaphor.

I really loved this one, and the way you have described the most complex and vivid expressions of our life is such a simple yet powerful way is simply brilliant!

Yesterday is past, tomorrow hasn't came, so live for today - it's a gift given by god to us and that's why we call it "present" :)

Change is such an inevitable part of life that you are correct. Its hard to say for certain who we will become as today turns into tomorrow. And normally when we hold on too tight, life tends to slip through our fingers.
I liked the analogy of our filds being colorful, or nightmares of gray. I would think that from time to time they change, as static as the world we live in.

Beautiful poem,
Mark

Wonderful piece of poetry
A short poem, but life is also short isn't it
Gab all the happiness you can while still on this earth
I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing it with me
