After Death Knocks

After Death Knocks

A Poem by TamiViolet
"

inspired by a special man

"

Beyond brazen sun

Dwells violet moon

Dreams occur in crystal ball

As omniscience reveals sight

I taste your pain

Longing to escape reality,

You become preoccupation

Kissing lips soft and sincere,

For you I unfold

I will die with you

 Beside you

Arms surround you

We shall become dust together

Miles separate

Yet you're inside my mind

Could my touch heal wounds

Of inescapable destructive forces?

Submission of body and soul

Left without choice

Your desires are mine

We build a bridge to Transcendence

Feel the heartbeat of my spirit

Contour of bodies intertwine

Love conquers all

Through sickness and health

Loyalty abides

Wherever destiny finds us

Remember...

My Love for you is timeless

And more powerful...

Than death.

The end of this poem was very powerful. Your words create a maze of thought and emotion and this poem is a unique quality. I can't say that I believe the words of this to be true for anyone but I believe that the hope that it is and the possibility is what is necessary to human life. Everyone wishes to be loved to such an extent when it is no longer conditional but unconditional and timeless. Though it happens rarely and perhaps never at all it is the hope and the wonder of that keeps our faith in love and life. Nice work.

I started to tear up. You have such a talent. I wish I could express my thoughts more clearly atm. This really hit close to my heart.

This right here is the stuff. Whoa. I love this. I have got to put this in my faves. Your visuals are truly outstanding and lovely word choices. All of it is captivating but I especially love this part --

"Submission of body and soul

Left without choice

Your desires are mine"

Sinfully divine. I especially liked the lines- "We build a bridge to Transcendence, Feel the heartbeat of my spirit, Contour of bodies intertwine."

It speaks to the spiritually motivated nature of the need and desire to lock oneself away inside another.

Just beautiful!

This is truly beautiful...surreal, and quite captures ones breath and
steals it for a minute. You've captured the purest form of love, and not even
death can claim. The picture goes nicely with the poem too:). AD

This is awesome. Religion. Sensuality. Darkness. Death. Intense!!! Love this style and the topic. Great writing.
