Vampire's Breath

Vampire's Breath

A Poem by Apollo Lee

 Like an insect

That creeps inside your skin

It slowly crawls

and then it fills the walls

within your head

The parasite

It's lavender skin cuts

Letting the life spill

It all takes that life without will

and it filled with dread

This corpus cavern

That slithers through me

Drink...Drink

Entrancing us

That fundamental

That funds the infinite

It is so warm within

I can feel the lucrative sin

that weighs of lead

This corpus cavern

That keeps me writhing

Drink...Drink

Entrancing thus

Forever with heart in mouth because of the luminescence

That the waking hours bring

The fauna of the lucid and unlit

One death may come from the slightest incandescence
