Misguided Path�

break up..false love

 

I’ve tasted the poison from your lips,

And this time around it’s making me sick.

I struggle to find meaning in the road that we’ve paved,

To really think if this is something that can be saved.

But you break me down into someone I don’t know,

Now when I look in the mirror all I see is an empty soul.

 

What love is to me will never be the same for you,

And today is the day that we run out of glue.

No more will I care about how you feel,

When my trust and respect is what you steal.

 

For a long time I thought in my heart that you were the one,

You were the man who came into my life and shined brighter then the sun.

But cloudy days are what we have had for oh so long,

It reminds me that our love was never that strong.

 

To you my broken heart is all it cost,

But one day you will think about the love you lost.

So now I pick myself up to find my new path,

No longer will I follow your misguided wrath.

You show great strenght in your words. I wish i had the strength to walk away from the guy who broke my heart like you ahve shown in this poem.
It explains teh pain adn the struggle beautfiully and you shud be proud of your work.. beautiful
