For so many years I might wonder why,
You wanted me, and the other on the side.

The sad truth is you won’t be around to see.
No more baggage to hold you down,
No more coming home to sad frowns.
I won’t sit in silence after seeing your marked neck,
The time spent with you has felt like a train wreck.
So now when he calls he doesn’t have to hang up,
He can be your adoring sexual pup.
The guy who you saw day after day,
The man who made you forget the excuses to say.
The man you so badly desired,
The one who ignited that cheating fire.
The one who kept you out till late,
The man who I began to hate.
But now your time is up with me,
The back of your head is all I want to see.
As you say good-bye, pick up your tears,
Without you in my life I no longer have fears.
So I let you go so you can be free,
To do what you want with out me.

Wow.. this one is really deep for me and everything is so truth.. except the cheating done behind my back was with money and not a person. Lies, deception, hiding bills.. etc.. lots of great flow in this piece!!! I could pick out a couple of lines but then when I read it again.. I find emotions all over this that I am in tune with all the way.. cheating is cheating.. many ways to cheat on people!!! Thank you for sharing.. I hope you find someone better in your future! =)
