A Poem by APoetsMuse
"

mirror, alone, thoughts

"

Broken glass.
Shattered dreams.
My window trembles with uncertainty.
Fog in the air.
Crisp winds.
Dry salty sins.
No blue skies.
Brown caring eyes.
Cold black rain.
Crashing down on my mental pane.
Wind gathers to remove my half spoken feelings.
It's breaking me down and starting it’s healing.
I look into my shattered two-way mirror.
Wondering if the other side is any clearer.
Can I see?
What there will be?
Clear blues sky.
Birds flying high.
Sun warming my pale existence.
The Lilly’s stand tall and grow with persistence.
Never to return.
Leaving this fiery burn.
I must mend the mirror and replace my shattered glass
In hopes of a comfortable sun lit spot on the grass.

Warm lyrics. Soft like a gentle breeze. Good job. It made me think of a sad broken spirit trying to fly again.
Good writing.
