Laying here Daydreaming about you,
Enlightened thoughts spinning through.
I’m better off since we met,
I’m happier now then I said.
Forward and forward I begin to move,
Times are better cause I trust you.
With life’s little lessons learned,
Life goes on after you’re burned.
You wiped my tears that ran like glue,
When I felt lonely and empty without you.
The pain I felt runs like the blood in my veins,
So many memories, so dark and stained.
Yet you pulled me out of my empty hole,
Helping me in ways you will never know.
How do I thank someone who has helped me grow?
When you did it so naturally with a certain flow.
I will forever hold a little part of you, within me,
I’ll rent you a space in my heart and give you the deed.
Never forget, to this one person you matter,
You were more then a footstool, you were my ladder.
I thank you for being that burst of sunlight,
Because of you things are turning out right.
