Davenport 2008 A continuation in light of Obama's win How does it feel, grimacing face, narrow eyes and clenched up fist Empty mind, closed ears and hardened heart That your remote world of burning flags White hoods and raggedy attire Flaming mouth spout out about the world at large Being alien to you How does it feel that the blood on your hands The tears that rained at your conniving Are washed Are dry Are no more The world has spoken J.L.
