Quickie In The City

Quickie In The City

A Poem by J.L. Davenport
"

After the club looking for love... some find a quickie in the backseat

"
Quickie in the City

Sweaty makeup
Tight fitted seams
The smell of no future lingers
Harmonizing under streetlights the smell of gasoline on nostrils lining
Sparks of a cigarette
A brush from the wind
Voices travel; soft new beauty double-penetrated so, x-rated
She will do it repeatedly
Those holes have no soul, wide deep and out of control
It ain't nothing but flesh and its mean!
Small moment under a public bathroom sink
Cannot seem to get clean
Smacking gum, rolling eyes, and spraying stolen perfume between her thighs
Just another quickie in the city
