Moving on

Moving on

A Poem by Diana Moon

I know your happy,
and that is fine,
all I need,
to move on.
I don't care
that I am not the one.
But promise me to be happy,
and love her.
She deserves it,
I know she does.
So don't let a single tear fall.
As long as your happy,
I will step aside.
But remember,
that I can't be there anymore.
That I won't be there to
help and tease you.
Our contact will fade,
a little by little every day.
But you will remain in my heart.
And as long as your happy,
I am willing to more on.

This was quite sad in a way, but I do know this feeling of wanting one you loved, who has moved on, to be happy. It is a sad joy...
