Pain

Pain

A Poem by Diana Moon
"

I was inspired to write this poem by an story and an another poem. This is NOT a true story to me or anyone I know. Hopefully it will never be.

"
Why?
Why didn't I give up on you,
you always threw me like trash,
ignored me as if I was a ghost,
I only tried to help,
After all you did for me,
I just wanted to take the pain away,
Pain that was there because of me,
Outside you were happy,
but I saw the sadness in your eyes,
The sadness I caused,
I found out your secrete,
And tried to help,
But you just yelled at me,
Called me a piece of trash,
who is always happy with no pain,
who gets in to other people's businesses,
Can't you see?
I only tried to help you,
You never saw the pain in me,
you never saw me crying because of memories,
The only reason I helped you,
was because you took the pain and the memories away,
Soon I fall for you, hard
You never saw,
Probably the only thing you saw,
was a nosy girl who thinks she can help you right,
You didn't saw the tears I hidden,
even after you took the pain away,
Your words ran threw my head,
I wrote down my thought in a piece of paper,
My last writing,
Next day,I found out that you were in a accident,
after you yelled at me,
You were going to live,
but we would never see each other,
I slipped my paper in your locker,
knowing you would get it,
Then I went to a mountain,
at sunset,
where we had met,
Love was why I fall

Thank you very so much
There is alot of emotion in this and the piece provides a sense of devotion and love. But it also represents how well some people can hide there pain, something I relate well to. "Only those who have experienced can recognize it." This quote reminds me of the lines outside you were happy, but I saw sadness in your eyes. So the girl being sad was semi foreshadowed. All the while the girl is trying to help her inner demons seem to be winning and the line that really got me was about them never seeing eachother again, for it means in my opinion she lost. I really do love this, good read :)
