Hamartia

hamartia noun -A fatal flaw leading to the downfall of a tragic hero or heroine

Glorious is the current condition of man

Who has self administered himself as King

 

Who rules upon the living and dead

And has taken fate under his wing

 

He spits on what's derived from nature

And feeds himself off insanity

 

He thrills at what evokes chaos

And his greatest trait is his vanity

 

To him he’s the source of creation

As he constantly questions his own

 

Though he’s aware of his fatal flaws

He pleads himself guilty

When he scripts them in this poem
