Frieda KahloA Poem by AphitenzaTribute to Magdalena Frieda Kahlo Y Calderón Incar
Oh Frieda,
How was the world through your eyes?
Such pain and such joy you felt.
It is true when they say only the purest die young, and your wrist bent to form your story, like never done before
Your life drowned in great love streams And lakes of despair Oceans of tears With tides so gold As your mind
They fell down your third eye And flood in the dry and desolate cracks of your heart Through the hole in your chest And with every plague against you, You faced your chin to the sky And held onto your glory Till death did you part.
