Sleep paralysis

I get sleep paralysis a lot, so I asked my mom about it and looked it up- apparently its theoretically caused by anxiety or in another case by an evil presence. I honestly believe it's a bit of both.

Spirits lay upon my chest
And hold me down in place
Who slumbers in the presence of the dead?

The presence of a demon at my shoulder
It stalks me after dark when 3am strikes
The commencement of witching hour

Where I lay marks the steps of what once was
As it rests beneath me
And reincarnates in my dreams

The shadows merge with the spirit within me
Grasping my breath for their own
My soul starts to surrender

Who am I to cry to?
All hail to Mary full of grace
May the lord be with me
