Sleep DeprivationA Poem by AphinionI wrote this after a few days of extreme sleep deprivation... I awoke today once more in a haze
To trudge through long and piteous days In a dull fog, servant to my fate Despite my free will to live life anew I've sucuumbed to loss of vibrance and light With the half thought that change is cruel And the grip of habit is strong and tight So while I may fight I lack the full sight To escape this blight And sleep well at night
