Forevermore

Forevermore

A Poem by Apebble
"

Even though you may no hear, see, or feel someone anymore, the love you have for them still shines through.

"

I don't hear your voice

The calm, soothing sound,

I miss it in my heart,

Every moment we are apart.

The world all surrounding,

Has hidden your face from sight,

I can't remember it's beauty,

It is but faded memory.

I no longer feel your touch,

We've put this distance between us.

I am numbed to its joy,

Something not even a kiss could employ

Like a silence in a forest,

Or a veil on wedding's day,

Even being numb to the core,

I will still love you, forevermore

I enjoyed reading this and know the feeling. I think the poem loses a bit of it flow, however, when the rhyme in verse two is not employed in the same way. Keep it in mind and keep writing! Thanks for sharing :)
