The Origin of SinA Story by ApebbleEver wonder the origin of sin? Here you go:Where did sin come from originally? There are four possibilities: 1. Sin was always there 2. Sin was created by man in The Fall by use of free will 3. Or God created sin 4. Christianity is false and we are fools for believing it. (Barely an option) Option 1 " Sin was always there. This option is shot out in the sense that God is the only thing that does not have an origin. I can say this because: sin is an idea or a thought. Every idea has an origin. Ultimately, the idea of sin leads back to God. This can be seen through the idea or thought of happiness. Happiness is brought on by the brain. Just as you say, we take our breaths as God allows, we also make our thoughts as He allows. Since he allows us to think, and gave us the ability to think, he indirectly created happiness, by way of supplying the method. Since God holds every situation in his hand, and makes or lets it happen, he thus made the situation in which happiness would come about. With that in mind, he directly created it using humans as a tool. The same applies to sin. If he didn’t create it, he provided all that was necessary to create it, making it indirect creation. Then he used the situation to make sin through human’s free will, which made it directly created by God. Also, as a side note, I have these references COMPLETELY agreeing with me: John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Revelation 4:11; Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 1:3 and Colossians 1:17. The full verses will be displayed at the bottom. All that to say: sin was definitely created, but by whom, is to be determined. Option #1 is out. Option 2 " Man made it in the fall, by using free will to disobey. That is when sin ENTERED the world. Let’s go with that for a moment. Who supplied free will(and that’s IF free will even exists (read Anti-Free Will Theory)? Who supplied the object to disobey with? Who supplied the tempter? Who supplied the situation? Who allowed it to happen? Obviously, God. Using that logic, even if man “created” it, God indirectly created it. Since God indirectly doing something is Him doing it directly (because He molds the situation as he chooses) it means He directly created it. Option #2 is out. Option 3 " Now we are down to our last actual option. God created sin. This is correct because the only way something can be created is through God, and I mean everything quite literally. Let’s say man has the ability to create thoughts on his own without God’s aid. Since God is omniscient, He knew man would eventually use that gift to create the idea of sin. But, the thing is, He controls the situation. He used the situation to influence the creation of that thought. Thus God directly made it with a tool. On a side note, it is said that in the beginning there was nothing but God. Sorry, but nothing means nothing. God was the only thing there. No sin, or anything of the sort. No happiness, sadness, grief, love, pain, etc. Nothing. That means it was created, by someone or something down the line, and considering I disproved humans making it (which applies to angels also), and I doubt the little animals are making sin, then that leaves God. God created sin, plain and simple. Option #3 is correct. A Bit Deeper Since God created sin and he is omniscient, all-knowing, and omnipotent, all powerful, then he knew man would fall. The things needed for man to fall were provided by God. If he knew Lucifer would become Satan, why create him? If he knew the tree would be the object of their fall, why put it there? Why say not to eat of it? The Bible is true, God won’t tempt you. He’ll just supply everything you need TO be tempted. Since he is the root cause for the fall, by providing everything necessary, then it leads to even worse things. One of these things is God is just a Hero to His own story. This is shown by this: he says he wants a relationship, and one of the key components is free will. Since free will is absent, the possibility of a relationship is also absent. As I said, he supplied everything. That includes everything He’d need to become a Hero to us. He needed someone to save. He made us. He needed an enemy. He made Lucifer, the soon-to-be Satan. He needed a Hero. He chose himself. He needed something to save us from. He made Hell. He needed something to put us in danger of Hell, so He could save us. He made sin. He needed a way to save us. He sent his son to die (discussed below). He needed a beginning. He supplied the tree and everything above to work together to start it. He needs an ending. He is supplying one. Before discussing Jesus’ death, I would like to speak of the gravity of the word omnipotent. This word means you can do anything you mind can possibly fathom of a belief, and considering God is all knowing, he can pretty much do anything. On to Jesus’ death. Since God is omnipotent, he could have found an infinite number of ways to save us. He could have re written the fabric of time to stop us from ever sinning in the first place. But, no, He decided to use the way that would most make him look like a Hero. I don’t know about you, but if I had another choice or send my son to die, I would choose the other. He made EVERYTHING necessary. He gave us free will to choose between three things, two of which are synonymous. He let us choose: God, Satan, or the World. The last two accomplish the same task. As a side-note, I find it odd He condemns you for using the very free will he provides. I also find it odd we automatically know option three, the World, yet we must be told of option 1, God. What of those who die and never hear the word? Condemn those who chose the only option they knew? Or were they meant to choose something they knew not of? That is like saying you chose poison, not knowing it was bad, and was never told of water, which is good. Back to the Hero topic. He wants to be the Hero, and sends to Hell all those who don’t see him as such. So he sends billions of people to Hell, just so He can be the Hero of the story He is writing. What I have said also ties in with predestination: the thought or idea of God choosing who goes to Heaven and Hell. So this also shows your free will is useless. You are already in the category of where you will go. Proof of this is in God’s omniscience. He knows where you would go before you were even born. I’ve already said God holds every situation(and it is in the Bible), thus he is the one who directed your thoughts to sway toward him or away, toward Heaven or toward Hell. So, yes, God created sin, sent billions to Hell (only to be a Hero I might add), and already knows where He’ll send you (while influencing your choice). Indeed, this is the God we serve.
