Rosie is goneA Poem by ApKWritesRun down and dried out The story of that little girl The one that was left To die out…
Rosie her name Pink her cheeks And her skin pale Hide and seek, Her favourite game
Friday was the day She was last seen Walking in the rain Her father was away And her mom stuck on a train
An hour she stood Outside the school Until the Heavens Decided to pour
She run under a tree The storm to flee She sat on the mud She was crying; sad Cold and wet as a duck
Rosie her name was And it wasn’t her fault The thunders stroke loud She was freaked enough to shout; You see it’s worse when you are sitting out.
She stumbled and fell She thought she was in Hell She pushed herself up It hurt, she had a bloody leg
Rosie got up She dropped her bag She left it on the floor And struggled to walk She hobbled to school By the road she stood Waited for her mum As long as she could
This story does not end My dearest friend You see, Rosie with the pinky cheeks Her parents still seek She wasn’t by the road As she was told And she wasn’t under the tree Or playing hide and seek You see, No one knows what’s done But Rosie’s gone!
