Cup of Hot Chocolate

Cup of Hot Chocolate

A Poem by SilentVoice

I sit quietly,

waiting for-

A cup of hot chocolate

Keeps my hands warm,

I wonder if he will show,

Thinking makes me wonder-

The smell fills my nostrils with

The warmth of the cocoa

The marshmallows become foam

Light but sticky,

Still wondering if he'll show.

I like the back in forth thoughts between the cocoa and the waiting.
