The Beach

The Beach

A Poem by SilentVoice
"

This poem came to me surprising while I was in bed. I was thinking of old memories of the days I used to spend on the beach with my family.

"

I walked through the sand barefooted,

As I made my way towards the sea,

Sand slides, smoothly in between my toes,

The waves are softly, smashing against the cliffs,

Like a cat softly rubbing its head against your leg,

The sounds of birds calling is everywhere,

The warm water splashes my feet gently,

The breeze is cool and calm,

It is blowing my hair behind me slowly and softly,

I love the beach because it's beautiful and bright.
